Junior's Program

Blind Cricket NSW is proud to continue growing opportunities for blind and low-vision junior cricketers across the state through our developing Juniors program. The program is designed to introduce children and young people to cricket in a fun, safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where players of all abilities can build confidence, learn new skills, and make lasting friendships.

Throughout the year, Blind Cricket NSW will be hosting Come and Try Days for juniors and families interested in learning more about blind and low-vision cricket. These sessions provide a great opportunity for new players to experience the game firsthand, meet current players and coaches, and discover how blind cricket is adapted to ensure everyone can participate and enjoy the sport.

The pathway for blind and low-vision cricketers in NSW continues to grow rapidly, with increasing opportunities to progress into representative cricket, interstate competitions, and national events such as the National Cricket Inclusion Championships (NCIC). With Women’s, Men’s, and Junior programs continuing to expand across Australia, there has never been a better time to get involved in blind cricket.
